The Outside Scoop: Dog Waste Removal Made Easy

The Outside Scoop provides reliable dog waste removal services tailored to your preferred schedule—daily, three times a week, twice a week, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Pricing Details:

Minimum Service Charge: $10 per visit.

Yard Size: Pricing is based on a backyard size of 1/8th of an acre. Larger yards will incur an additional charge based on their size.

Front Yard Cleanup: Available for an additional fee, calculated based on size.

First-Time Cleanup: Fee: $35, plus $15 for each additional 5-gallon bucket of waste removed.

Payment: The $35 first-time cleanup fee will be automatically charged to your card when scheduling your first service.

ACCESSING YOUR YARD

The Outside Scoop: Access and Safety Policy

It is your responsibility to ensure The Outside Scoop has access to the areas that need cleaning and that any aggressive dogs are kept out of the yard during our visit.

Access Options:

Use a padlock with a combination and provide us with the code. Provide a key or gate code. Leave the gate unlocked on your scheduled service day. If we arrive and cannot access your yard due to a locked gate or an aggressive dog, we will skip your visit for that week, however, if we have an opening that we can reschedule you, will attempt to return later in that cycle or we will resume service on your next scheduled visit.

ROCKS

If the area that we are cleaning is in rocks, an additional fee of $3 per visit will apply.

LEAVES, DEBRIS AND TALL GRASS

The Outside Scoop: Commitment to Quality Service

We always strive to clean your yard as thoroughly as possible. However, we understand that maintaining a yard can be challenging, and it might not always be in ideal condition.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

Tall grass, leaves, or debris can make it difficult to spot all dog waste. If your grass is tall, there may be waste we miss, which could be uncovered later. Don’t worry—we’ll be back on our next scheduled visit and will likely catch anything missed once yard maintenance is complete. If you notice an excessive amount of waste that we missed, please let us know immediately, and we’ll ensure it gets taken care of promptly.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

The Outside Scoop: Weather and Holiday Service Policy

Weather Conditions:

The Outside Scoop operates in rain and cold as long as it is safe to do so. However, severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms, flooding, or snow/ice accumulation may prevent us from providing service.

Credit for Weather-Related Skips: As a monthly subscription service, we do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to weather, however we do offer credit for the missed day or week. We still need to collect all accumulated waste from previous weeks during your next scheduled visit.

Rescheduling: If you require cleanup before your next scheduled service, contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, though we cannot guarantee availability.

Muddy Conditions: To avoid damaging your yard, we may skip service if the ground is excessively muddy, resuming on your next scheduled visit when conditions improve.

Holiday Schedule:

The Outside Scoop observes the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Week: Tuesday through the following Sunday..

For Christmas and New Year’s Week: The week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

If your service day falls on one of these holidays, it will be skipped, and service will resume on your next scheduled day.

No refunds will be provided for holiday skips. We generally do not charge for those days during the holidays.

Biweekly Service Note:

If a biweekly service is missed due to snow, holidays, or other delays, there will be a four-week gap between cleanups. To avoid this, we recommend upgrading to weekly service.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide the best possible service while prioritizing safety and the care of your yard.

BILLING

The Outside Scoop: Billing, Service, and Additional Fees Policy

To receive services from The Outside Scoop, you must have an up-to-date credit or debit card on file. We pre-bill monthly for our services, charging your account on the same date you signed up. For example, if you sign up on May 7th, your card will be charged on the 7th of each following month.

Failed Payments: If your card payment is unsuccessful, service will be paused immediately until the issue is resolved.

First-Time Cleanup Fee: If more than 30 days have passed since your last cleanup, a first-time cleanup fee will be applied when service resumes.

Service Pauses: Service can only be paused for periods of 45 days or longer.

Additional Fees: Here is a breakdown of additional charges for specific services:

Cleaning dog waste from rocks: $3/visit

Yards larger than 1/8th of an acre: Additional charge based on size

Front yard cleanup: Additional charge based on size averages $10

Cleaning/sanitizing dog waste from decks, patios, or sidewalks: $5/visit

Loose stool: $1/pile (applies only if recurring).

If for any reason your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a certain period (i.e. vacation, illness, etc.) and you do not wish to be charged for an unnecessary visit(s), please let us know in advance to pause the service.

Fees and Promotions are subject to change at any time. In this rare circumstance, you will be notified at least 30 days prior to any changes.

Either party may terminate service (in writing) at any time. Unpaid balances are due within 15 days.

By initiating service, both parties agree to the above terms and responsibilities.
